COD Digestors Chemical Oxygen Demand

 

The conventional Hot Plate Method has a number of disadvantages. The COD digester overcomes these disadvantages. This digester has a uniform heating without water circulation. The Switch  auto off system is its unique feature. After completion of labpro digestion, titration can be done manually or by COD autotitrator 

Outer  cabinet  made  of   mild  steel  duly  Coated. Double  wall  construction   with  insulation for  minimum heat  losses increases  the efficiency  of  the       system. Aluminium Block with holes  is  used to hold 15 nos .COD tubes.( or  For 6 tubes )  Aluminium  Block is heated    to maintain temperature  up to  180 °C . Solid state  Digital  Temperature Controller, labpro appropriate heater &  insulation  selection  assure uniformity in all  the  samples. 

 

How to use –

 

1. Get the machine cleaned with soft cloth before art of the work.
2. Now insert the plug in the main, switch on and mains pilot lamp glow.
3. Set the temperature on 1Way Heat Switch for providing heat fast and slow to the partials as your convenient.
4. Set the temperature on PID digital control.
5. If desired, use arrow keysto change SV.
6. the temp. UP and down and Press set button
7. The manual of PID is enclosed with this manual but you shouldn’t try to pre set the program for maintaining accuracy of temperature.
8. The PID controlled the temperature before 15 to 20 as the set temperature and temperature will be increase slowly and maintain it on highest point as your requirement

Steps to operate the machine:

 

• To enter the settings in the menu press MENU KEY.

SET     TEMPERATURE

 

• Press Enter key the display shows the set temperature value .
